Pascale Lahoud led a long career in cultural management and higher-education leadership (VP Cultural Affairs and later as Executive VP of a renowned university), during which, she amassed an extensive experience in policy writing, strategic content production, quality assurance processes, gender equality and inclusive content issues.
She holds a PhD in Philosophy, a Master’s Degree in History of Sciences and Techniques and more than 20 years’ experience in editorial and publishing management.
At the intersection of her two fields of expertise, i.e., philosophy and history of science and her passion for Arabic, she experiences first-hand the large gap in scientific and technical Arabic content.
Having worked as an Editor-in-Chief, publishing director, and Science & Technology content senior consultant, she has a multi-faceted expertise that spans the entire spectrum of content creation and management in Arabic, from design to publishing.
A passionate about Arabic and a published author of various books, articles, and op-eds, she works on contextualized philosophy and on the Arabic language as a unique thought ecosystem. She believes that intercultural communication is indispensable for sustainable peace and flourishing communities.
